Benefits

You've probably heard a great deal about UPVC windows and frames and if you gaze around you will probably find that more than half the homes on your street have UPVC windows.

UPVC stands for unplasticised poly vinyl chloride, a material that has numerous uses including windows and doors and pipes and guttering to name just a few. Many UPVC window frames have a galvanised steel core, which gives the material incredible strength.

If your existing windows are rotting/damaged, or if you just want to upgrade and add value to your home, you should treat yourself to UPVC windows.

Costs

One of the factors considered will inevitably be the cost of the materials and this will probably influence decisions one way or the other. When it comes to pricings, however, uPVC is usually the cheapest material on offer after things like aluminum and wood. This is far from uPVC’s greatest asset, but its relative cost effectiveness is certainly a bonus that makes it stand out.
